Men's Performance Supplements

Two daily supplements: Strike for general energy and stamina support, Dominate for testosterone and vitality support. Both are made in the USA with botanical extracts, vitamins and minerals.

What this category is honestly for

Supplements support general health and vitality. They are not erectile dysfunction treatment, they are not a testosterone prescription, and the marketing in this category is some of the worst in retail. We are not going to add to it.

If you are in decent health, eat reasonably, and want daily support for energy and stamina, a well-made supplement is a fine thing to add. If you have a specific problem (you cannot get hard, you are exhausted all the time, your libido has dropped off a cliff), a supplement is the wrong first move. Get bloods done. Low testosterone, thyroid problems, diabetes and sleep apnoea all present this way, and all of them have real treatments.

Talk to a pharmacist before you stack

Botanical supplements interact with prescription medication. If you take anything for blood pressure, cholesterol, blood thinning, or erectile dysfunction, and particularly if you take nitrates, check before adding a supplement. This is a two-minute conversation at any pharmacy counter.

What to look for on any label

  • A full ingredient panel with actual doses, not a “proprietary blend” that hides them
  • Where it is manufactured, and whether the facility is third-party audited
  • No claims to treat, cure or prevent a disease, because that language is a red flag rather than a selling point
  • A realistic serving size you will actually take every day

The things that move the needle more

Worth saying plainly, because it is true: cardiovascular fitness, seven-plus hours of sleep, a healthy weight, controlled blood pressure and blood sugar, less alcohol and no smoking do more for erectile function than any supplement on the market. Erectile tissue is vascular tissue. What is good for your arteries is good for your erections, and the reverse is also true, which is why new ED is worth taking to a doctor rather than to a supplement shelf.

What the evidence supports, and what it does not

Supplements in this category are sold on implication. The label says “supports vitality” and the buyer hears “fixes erections,” and the gap between those two things is where most of the money in this industry is made.

A well-made daily supplement can support general energy and wellbeing as part of an otherwise reasonable diet and routine. That is a modest claim and it is the one the evidence will bear. Erectile dysfunction, low testosterone and persistent fatigue are medical problems with medical answers, and no capsule sold without a prescription is among them.

Dietary supplements are not reviewed by the FDA for safety and effectiveness before sale the way medicines are. That is not an accusation about any particular product; it is the regulatory reality of the category, and it is why manufacturing location, third-party testing and a full ingredient panel are worth more than any claim on the front of the bottle.

Reading a label properly

  • Full doses, not a “proprietary blend.” A blend that lists ingredients without amounts is hiding the amounts.
  • Where it is made, and whether the facility is audited. Strike and Dominate are made in the USA.
  • No disease claims. Anything promising to treat, cure or prevent a condition is making a claim it is not permitted to make, which tells you something about the rest of the label.
  • A serving size you will actually keep to. A supplement taken half the time is a supplement wasted.

Interactions are the real risk

The genuine hazard in this category is not that a supplement does nothing. It is that a botanical ingredient interacts with a medication you are already taking. This matters most if you take blood pressure medication, blood thinners, or anything for erectile dysfunction, and it matters absolutely if you take nitrates, where the interaction with PDE5 inhibitors can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.

Ask a pharmacist before you add anything. It is a two-minute conversation at any counter and it is free.

The things that actually move erectile function

Worth repeating because it is both true and unprofitable to say: cardiovascular fitness, seven or more hours of sleep, a healthy weight, controlled blood pressure and blood sugar, less alcohol and no smoking do more for erections than anything in this collection. Erectile tissue is vascular tissue, and what damages arteries shows up here first.

If erections are the reason you are on this page, start with the ED devices guide and a doctor’s appointment, not a supplement.

Frequently asked questions

Will a supplement fix erectile dysfunction?
No, and be sceptical of anything that claims it will. Erectile dysfunction has vascular, neurological, hormonal and psychological causes, and the treatments with real evidence behind them are prescription medication, mechanical devices, and addressing the underlying condition. Supplements support general vitality; they are not a treatment.
How long before I notice anything?
Daily supplements are not acute products. Anything you notice will build over weeks of consistent use, and it will be general — energy, recovery, how you feel day to day — rather than a specific on-demand effect.
Can I take these with prescription medication?
Ask your doctor or pharmacist first, every time. Botanical supplements can interact with real medications, and the interactions are not always obvious. This matters especially if you take nitrates, blood thinners, blood pressure medication, or a PDE5 inhibitor.
Are supplements regulated?
Dietary supplements are not reviewed by the FDA for safety and effectiveness before they go on sale, the way drugs are. That is why third-party testing, a clear ingredient panel, and a manufacturer who tells you where it is made are worth paying attention to.
What actually helps erections, if not this?
The unglamorous list: cardiovascular fitness, sleep, weight, blood pressure and blood sugar control, less alcohol, no smoking, and treating any underlying condition. Then, if needed, prescription medication or mechanical devices like a constriction ring . See the ED devices guide .
